Weingut Abraham’s Pinot Noir Selezione “Art” brings with it all the flavor of mountain wines, being born in South Tyrol near Eppan in the province of Bolzano.
The clusters are hand-selected in the vineyard and then placed in vats for spontaneous fermentation with chutes so as not to ruin their integrity: about 30 percent are fermented whole cluster, the rest are derasped; macerates for about three weeks with daily, manual pumping over of the pomace for better extraction of substances from the skins; ages in oak barrels on the lees for 20 months with malolactic fermentation done.
It pairs excellently with grilled or roasted cuts of red meat, game and spicy aged cheeses for amazing meal ends. A product to be consumed on special family occasions to celebrate anniversaries or anniversaries and for winter evenings in front of the fireplace with a product in the goblet that is the result of love for the land from which it comes.
