Description
Pietro Rinaldi’s 2018 Barolo is a great Barolo, deep garnet red with orange highlights. Very elegant and complex, soft tannins, with a fresh long, enveloping finish.
Harvesting takes place around mid-October, however influenced by the weather conditions of the year, harvested entirely by hand. It is aged for 18 months in large oak barrels and once bottled rests for at least 6-8 months in a horizontal position before being placed for sale.
The appearance is a deep garnet red with orange reflections.
The nose has an intense aroma of ripe fruit, small black berries and underbrush, blackberries and plums. In the mouth it is a great Barolo, very elegant and complex, soft tannins, with a fresh long and enveloping finish.
This Wine has its natural pairing with the great dishes of Piedmontese cuisine, braised beef, wild boar and game.
