Description
This is 100% Prie Blanc from 40-year-old organic vineyards at the foot of Mont Blanc, high in the Italian Alps. Harvested by hand and fermented with native yeast, then aged all in steel. It is lightly filtered before bottling with minimal addition of sulfur. Bright, crisp and pristine with crushed stones, white flowers and citrus. Muscadet meets Chablis in the mountains of Italy. Piero, with the help of his wife and two daughters, produces only this wine and just over 300 cases a year.
A wine that dresses the glass in a pale straw yellow with greenish hues, smells of mountain herbs and wild flowers, and on the palate has a dry, yet extremely delicate taste, reminiscent of the fruity olfactory notes, enhancing
freshness. Excellent as an aperitif, it finds the right match with delicate appetizers, with a
mountain salmon trout or with fresh, non-herbed soft cheeses.
