Brendino Pinot Nero 2018 – Cuna
70,00 €
Cuna Cru Brendino di Cuna – Federico Staderini is a rare and intriguing expression of Pinot Noir grapes grown in Casentino, in a single vineyard at 500 meters above sea level.
Aged for 18 months in exhausted French oak barrels, it expresses an intense and velvety, meaty and enveloping personality through aromas of wild strawberries, currants and cassis, balsamic echoes, oriental spices and an endless savory persistence.

Description
Federico Staderini’s “Cuna Cru Brendino” is the ultimate expression of the wines produced by Federico Staderini and a liquid endowed with disarming complexity and depth.
Federico Staderini is undoubtedly one of Italy’s most competent winemakers, and before founding his own winery in 2002, he proved his worth by following wineries among the most important in Tuscany, such as the legendary Poggio di Sotto. Podere Santa Felicita, on the other hand, is his personal project, in which Federico tries his hand at a grape that is very different from Sangiovese, namely Pinot Noir, since Civettaia, a municipality in the province of Arezzo, is definitely more suited for the ripening of this variety. Just 4 hectares of vineyard, cultivated following the precepts of biodynamics and sealed by spontaneous fermentations in the cellar, all combined with Federico’s sensitivity. What can come out of it? Foregone answer. Some of the best reds in Italy, without exaggeration.
The red wine “Cuna Cru Brendino” is made from pure Pinot Noir grapes from a single cru that precisely gives the label its name given its particular vocation.
