A fine wine made exclusively from the vinification of 100 percent pure Sangiovese grapes, representing the pinnacle of selection in the Italian wine scene. These grapes grow luxuriantly in the enchanting DOCG territory of Montalcino, on the rolling hills that give the wine its unsurpassed global reputation. Harvesting is a traditional ritual, performed by hand with meticulous care, where the grapes are picked in 18-kilogram wooden boxes, and then transported directly to the winery for the winemaking process. During this process, the grapes undergo a twenty-day fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks. Subsequent evolution takes place through an aging period of thirty-six months in oak barrels, followed by a minimum of twelve months aging in bottles.
On organoleptic examination, this wine shows a delicate but pronounced garnet-red hue. The aroma exudes the typical expression of large oak barrel, with vibrant notes of red fruits and underbrush dominating the scene.
