One of the great Italian Chardonnays, whose fermentation and maturation take place in wooden barrels, giving the wine a relevant taste-olfactory complexity and great depth. Long and very pleasant, the Valle d’Aosta Chardonnay PDO “Cuvée Bois” from Les Crêtes is a demonstration of all the class of wines from Les Crêtes and the Valle d’Aosta in general. Also excellent over the long distance after years of cellar aging.

Golden yellow, the nose expresses all its stuff thanks to intense notes of ripe fruit and spices enhanced by a pleasant toasted note. In the mouth it is persistent, elegant, remarkably complex, savory and soft, rich and flavorful. Impeccable in closing, on light butter notes.
