Description
Chianti Classico 2020 is Poggerino’s most typical product. Aging takes place in cement, but in fermentation, then large wood and tonneaux for one year, followed by further aging in bottle, for about 8 months.
Leather, licorice and a touch of vanilla complete the bouquet.
Compulsive drinking and for all tastes, it does not give up elegance, backbone and persistence: the tannin is velvety, but the acidity of the sangiovese is always on the shields. A typical, artisanal sangiovese with character.
