Description
Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG from Castell’in Villa is made with grapes from vineyards that have an average age of 15/25 years, cultivated with northwest, southeast exposures at an altitude of 250/320 meters above sea level.
Alcoholic fermentation, lasting 12/14 days, is activated with indigenous yeasts and is carried out in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of about 28/30 C°.
The wine then rests in large Slavonian oak barrels for a period of 24 to 36 months. Once bottled, the wine continues aging with a 12-month cellar stay before being released for sale.
It is a wine with great aging potential.
