The 2018 Chianti Riserva is a flavorful and classic red, very open and forward in sensory evolution showing notes of dehydrated black strawberries plums, tobacco leaves and leather. Medium body, slightly dry tannins and an amiable finish that closes slightly sweet.

Description
Chianti Classico Riserva 2018 produced from a selection of the best Sangiovese grapes with Canaiolo and Malvasia nera (5%) after vinification it ages for two years in large 22Hl oak barrels.
Intense aromas of ripe red fruits and underbrush and light spice. The sip is rounded while remaining fresh and savory.
It goes well with cured meats and aged cheeses, structured pasta dishes and grilled red meat main courses.
In the Castellinuzza and Piuca winery, it adds very little to what already arrives in excellent health. Spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts, wise use of wooden containers, choosing medium-sized ones that have already had some passage.
