Description
The first wine historically released from the new winery in 2003 and dedicated to Maurizio’s grandfather, who purchased land in Bolgheri from Marchesa Incisa della Rocchetta back in 1954.
Emilio Primo Rosso is a pleasant product with great potential. A typical Bolgheri blend in which the notes of Cabernet Sauvignon, the roundness of Merlot and the elegance of Syrah are found, magically blended to create an enveloping wine balanced and with a distinct personality.
Red with burgundy highlights.
Notes of small red fruits, violets, roses and sweet almonds juxtaposed with hints of Mediterranean scrub, slight hints of oak give it a spice.
Taste The mouth entry is pleasant, balanced harmonious, in the center still fruit in pleasant harmony with balsamic notes and tannins evident but not invasive. It closes with a pleasant, persuasive finish that induces drinking again.
