Description
Rieslings from the Urzig area in the Mosel, from soils oriented east-southeast to south, 80 percent steep with 20 percent sloping, deep, stony, cool because of slate and volcanic origin, turn out exotic and spicy (delicately fruity to lush) and with great depth.
The freshness and savoriness in addition to the fruit make the sip dynamic and nicely balance the sweetness.
The wine as a whole is elegant and the taste is noble, never redundant. The nose has complex and elegant hints of ripe peach and candied yellow fruit, as well as spicy and peat notes.
The wine has great retro-olfactory persistence.
