Description
Emiliano Falsini’s Etna Rosso DOC Contrada Feudo Pignatone is the northern slope of Etna. Which is equivalent to say is the power and finesse that on par A’ Muntagna can express. It does so through its very image, so imposing and then with such slender profiles, it does so through its flowers, such as the orange blossom, a flower so slender but one that knows how to inebriate an entire slope from Randazzo to Linguaglossa via Castiglione.
Etna is like that, an oxymoron. And Emiliano’s wines are exactly Etna. His Feudo Pignatone is produced from old Nerello Mascalese vines, some of which are up to 100 years old. What comes out of it? Garzanti should change the meaning of Masterpiece after tasting Emiliano Falsini’s Etna Rosso DOC Feudo Pignatone.
Emiliano Falsini’s Etna Rosso DOC Feudo Pignatone is a ruby red that indulges in small steps. There is character and blood in this wine with disruptive personality. Then there is juniper, thyme and the forest rattling through its branches and leaves in a sip where the vibrant mineral tension indulges with a majestic lengthening.
