Fonterutoli Chianti Classico 2020 – Marchesi Mazzei Castello di Fonterutoli
25,00 €
Mazzei’s Chianti Classico Fonterutoli is a red wine made from Sangiovese, Malvasia Nera, Colorino and Merlot grapes from the province of Siena. It shows a clear ruby red color with garnet hues and releases fine aromas of berries such as blackberries and currants with enveloping spicy details on the nose. The sip is full-bodied and elegant, with citrusy freshness and an intense, smooth texture.

Description
Chianti Classico red wine “Fonterutoli” is the standard bearer of the entire production made by Mazzei, the result of a blend of grapes grown in as many as 120 different vineyard parcels. A puzzle that, as if by magic, thanks in part to the great experience of the winery, comes together during winemaking, resulting in an elegant and well-proportioned label that is both intense and soft.
A classic of Tuscan Chianti, which year after year is always confirmed in the main Italian and foreign trade guides with respectable scores.
This Chianti Classico “Fonterutoli” originates from a blend where, alongside 90% Sangiovese grapes, we also find small percentages of Malvasia Nera, Colorino and Merlot.
