Foradori Granato is the winery’s flagship wine, made from pure Teroldego grapes from vineyards over 70 years old located in Noval, Regin and Pedot, which rest on alluvial soils. Vigilant care is taken in the vineyard, observing without prevarication and following the precepts of biodynamics so as to preserve the vitality of soil and plants. In the winery, spontaneous fermentations are carried out, and in the case of Garnet, 20-30 days’ maceration on the skins. The liquid ages for 15 months in 20-40 hl acacia barrels and 2 months in concrete tanks before bottling.
Garnet wine presents itself in the glass with a bright and lively ruby robe. A true ace, even capable of improving with the years, it immediately shows its stuff by offering an austere but multifaceted profile where currant, pomegranate and graphite can be recognized, as well as impressive layering. The sip is cohesive, powerful and dense, driven by beautifully crafted tannin, perfectly balanced by matter, salt and freshness. Garnet, granitic.
