Description
Caberlot is the name of the grape variety from which this wine was named. The original strain was identified in the 1960s in an ancient vineyard located in the Euganean Hills.
Caberlot captures most of the cabernet characters; from Merlot the leafy sensations and more moderate vigor.
Produced only in Magnum format, it has a ruby red color with garnet tones; the aroma is broad and elegant with hints of vanilla, roasted coffee, tobacco, currant, raspberry, licorice and cocoa.
Dry and long in flavor, The Caberlot Magnum spends 16 months in new, medium-toast barrels and concludes its aging at the producer’s with two years in bottle.
Enjoy with roasted red meats, noble poultry, feathered game, fat and savory cheeses
