Description
Tenuta di Carleone’s Guercio 2020 is a pure Sangiovese from vines sourced in Gaiole in Chianti from the Mello Vineyard at 700 m above sea level. After harvest, the grapes ferment in cement and open containers with 20% whole clusters, and maceration takes place for a duration of 4 months. Aging takes place in concrete for 12 months.
The wine on the nose gives scents of flowers and red fruits in abundance as well as citrus fruits, in the mouth it is graceful, elegant and in balance. To be best enjoyed in a few years.
