The wine is silky, lush, fresh and peppery. The fruit has lift, tannin, crushed stone, spice and dark red berries that are sweet and energetic. Offering a juicy wave of peppery red fruits with vibrancy, minerality and freshness, you also find a long spicy kirsch note lingering on the finish.

Description
The 2017 Châteauneuf Du Pape Les Hauts-Lieux comes from a slightly higher area and includes more Mourvèdre than the Les Trois Source version. It is pure, full-bodied and incredibly structured, with a tight, backward style that will benefit from bottle age. Showing a distinct salty minerality and loads of black and blue fruits, it is reminiscent of 2015 but with more elegance. Keep the bottles for 4-5 years and so enjoy the next two decades.
The wine was made from a blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre, 10% Cinsault and 10% Counouise.
