Malvazija 2019 – Skerk
42,00 €
Skerk’s Malvasia Istriana is a great interpretation pure and typical of Karst, aged for 12 months in oak barrels. The intriguing olfactory picture is painted by touches of resin, honey, apricot jam and caramel. The palate relaxes with balsamic elegance and freshness in a juicy, full and delicately mineral taste.

Description
Sandy Skerk produces her Malvasia in the Karst region of Trieste, a stony, windswept land that yields wines with distinct personality. The variety grown in Karst is Malvasia Istriana, less aromatic than the better-known Malvasia di Candia. In this particular terroir, characterized by limestone soils, hot and windy summers, but tempered by sea breezes, the vine has found an ideal habitat to express itself at its best.
