Girlan’s Pinot Noir “Patricia” is a clear example of a wine with its own character, particularly marked characteristics, intense personality and a harmonious, smooth and deeply fruity body.
Girlan is an extraordinary example of a social winery: 230 contributing members create one of the most interesting wineries in South Tyrol, consisting of wine hamlets cultivated like gardens, with impeccable care and lots of passion. For example, the Pinot Noir “Patricia” comes from grapes mostly from Patricia Elzenbaum’s vineyards on the slopes of Mazzon, above Egna.
Pinot Noir “Patricia” gives fresh sensations of small red fruits that envelop the nose with softness and persuasiveness.The pleasant hints of vanilla come from resting for 15 months in small and large barrels. The sip is elegant and velvety, savory but also full and structured…a clean and genuine expression of Alto Adige winemaking.
