Percarlo is a robust and structured Tuscan red wine made from Sangiovese grapes, aged in barriques for 22 months. It has a broad and very intense aroma profile, with notes of very ripe red fruit, spices and Mediterranean scrub in evidence. The sip is powerful, elegant and deep, with very long persistence.

Description
Percarlo is a thoroughbred Sangiovese, a true expression of crystalline class and great power. The indissoluble union between one of Italy’s most vocated red grape varieties and a multifaceted territory such as Gaiole in Chianti makes it possible to produce liquids of great complexity as well as extremely long-lived.
The San Giusto A Rentennano winery’s stylistic interpretation is a watershed between attention to tradition and a more modern key, resulting in greater concentration and richness.
The liquid ages in French oak tonneaux and barriques for 20 to 22 months, and after bottling, which is done without filtration, it rests for 18 months in the bottle before being marketed.
