Mazzei’s Toscana Cabernet Sauvignon IGT “Philip” is a red wine dedicated to illustrious ancestor Filippo (Philip) Mazzei, a passionate winemaker, liberal thinker and citizen of the world. Produced from the best cabernet sauvignon grapes selected on the Castello’s estates, Philip is quintessentially Tuscan: in fact, it interprets the spirit of the Tuscan viticultural “New World,” best represents Philip Mazzei’s revolutionary character and expresses the desire for the “pursuit of happiness,” as Mazzei wrote to Thomas Jefferson.
