Hartmann Donà’s Pinot Noir is an elegant and refined version of the Burgundy red, well expressing the delicate fruit and freshness typical of the South Tyrolean terroir. The skillful and well-measured use of wood leaves the varietal notes in the foreground, enriching them with delicate tertiary facets of remarkable expressive finesse.

Pinot Noir wine from South Tyrolean vigneron Hartmann Donà is a label with a strong personality, embodying the characteristics of the terroir and the producer’s philosophy. Its vineyards are located on a steep slope in Cermes, south of Merano and near Bolzano.

The wine matures for 24 months in oak barrels and is aged in bottles for another 24 months before release.

Hartmann Dona Pinot Noir perfectly expresses the character of mountain viticulture, marked by a cool climate and poor soils. In the goblet, it is rather pale ruby red in color. The bouquet is refined, with aromas of small red berry fruits, hints of black cherry, and delicate spicy sensations. The sip is harmonious with a perfect balance of subtle fruit, mild tannins and pleasant freshness, closing on savory and mineral notes.
