Description
Paolo Veglio Is a very good winemaker and Cascina Roccalini is a project that bears his name and surname well engraved given his firm resolve to produce wine from the grapes that before his advent were sold to Bruno Giacosa’s company to produce his Barbaresco. The winery’s philosophy reflects a careful winemaker who takes his cues from tradition, fermentations are activated by indigenous yeasts, and the barrels where the wine matures are large. The wine is elegant and carries a structure and tannin that allow for long aging.
