23,00 €
Corte dei Venti’s Rosso di Montalcino outlines itself as a successful and masterful expression of this well-known Tuscan type. After resting in barrels for at least a year, it already comes through on first olfaction with dark, pulpy hues of berries, blueberry jam and sweet spices. Taste on the palate is deep and round, with lively tannic component and very fine flavor closure

Description
Rosso di Montalcino wine comes from the vineyards of a small estate in the famous Tuscan territory. The Corte dei Venti estate covers a total of 5 hectares, half of which are planted with vineyards and half with olive groves. The vineyards are located in Piancornello in the southern part of the hillside, below Sant’Angelo al Colle. This is an area characterized by a distinctive, almost Mediterranean microclimate, thanks to the influence of sea breezes and sunny exposures mainly facing south. The warmth of the sun and constant ventilation, promote the ripening of healthy grapes with rich and intense aromas and particularly ripe and expressive fruit.
Rosso di Montalcino D.O.C. Corte dei Venti is obtained, as per the specifications, from the vinification of only Sangiovese grosso. It is aged 12 months in barrels, tonneaux or barriques and at least 4 months in bottles in temperature-controlled rooms.
It has a bright, intense ruby red color, very bright reflections. The nose brings out a crisp, fresh scent with notes of fresh red fruit, mingling with tertiary hints, including dried tobacco. In the mouth it is ample, persistent and lively, with a subtle and very fine tannin structure.
