Description
“Semillon & Chenin Blanc” IGT Toscana was born from the idea that the grapes of the varieties present at Petreto have a strong territorial imprint. In keeping with this footprint, the blend of Chenin Blanc and Semillon creates an excellent balance that enhances the characteristics of each variety.
The wine has great aging potential and reaches its best structure and aromatic complexity after 7-8 years from harvest.
Harvesting is by hand, vinification is by soft pressing, and fermentation is in steel for about 20 to 25 days. It is then aged in steel on the noble lees for 6 months.
