Description
Castello di Fonterutoli – Mazzei’s “Siepi” is a Tuscan wine, produced near Castellina in Chianti heart of the Chianti Classico DOCG. The Mazzei Marquises have held ownership of this castle since 1435, which has preserved the historicity and authenticity of the buildings and grounds over time, preserving an atmosphere typical of medieval times. Over time, the Mazzei family decided to study and enhance the land, trying to bring good quality products to life from a predominantly stony and rocky soil: the result has been the production of wines of unique complexity and diversity, becoming the signature of the estate.
