Vin Jaune “Les Bruyères” 2015 – Bénédicte & Stéphane Tissot

Description

This yellow wine comes from a place called les Bruyères, a clayey terroir in the Lias where the estate has 80 ares of land. Vinification is carried out in stainless steel vats and the traditional ageing of yellow wines for 6 years in old barrels, with a yeast veil and without topping up, which results in evaporation of about one third of the volume.
The result is a powerful, concentrated and complex wine with a beautiful minerality and characteristic aromas of nuts and dried fruit. A great yellow wine with an aging potential of more than a century.
